The 2016 Holiday card.

Notes on the card: I was working initially on some homage to Keith Haring as the concept of this year’s holiday card. The “Hillary Forward” and Mark then took over as my direction for the design; graphical concepts were easy to come by and relatively easy to render. The orientation of the logo took a nosedive after the election results were announced, in keeping with what was a crash-and-burn Hillary Clinton defeat. I left some extra smidgen of space between the logo and the text; it is the passage of time, and the pictorial elements of the narrative in total mark the tricky trajectory from a sad day into a putatively happy season. There is also something dreidel-like about the tipped-over logo.
