The crape (crepe) myrtles outside my building have held up reasonably well after thunderstorms and Monday’s 100-degree high temperature.

Alas, poor Guillermo. I met him in 2015 at the Hobart Street Porchfest.

All the art-supply stores in New York City are going out of business. I wonder how long Plaza and Blix can hold on in the District, which isn’t renowned as a hub of fine-arts activity. They seem to take up a lot of floor-space, but never seem busy.
