I&#8217;m not that photogenic. As the new year drew close, however, I felt it was time to update my portrait picture on Facebook. I wanted to project a confident, forward- looking mien.<\/p>\n<p>I took a load of godawful pictures, but one of them had some hope. The fuzzy resolution of the camera on my laptop actually obscures many minor blemishes. After I cropped the photograph and cut down the color saturation, I had an image I could live with.
